ELCOT has established an IT SEZ at Vadapalanji village, Madurai, at an investment of Rs.66.51 crore in an extent of 245.17 acres of land, out of which SEZ approval is accorded for an extent of 213 acres.
In this ELCOSEZ, ELCOT has made allotment of 142 acres of land in SEZ area and 25 acres of land in Non-SEZ area on lease basis to the following companies.

A 70,139 sq.ft. Administrative-cumIT Building constructed by ELCOT, with an investment of Rs.23 crore, was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on 05.03.2019
A Tech Forum in Emerging Technologies like Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Machine Learning, AR / VR, Robotics, Data Analytics etc., is proposed in this IT Park.
Applications are invited from IT/ITES Companies which have a clear roadmap for Export based business for allotment of land in the above mentioned IT Park / SEZ promoted by Government of Tamil Nadu through ELCOT (A Government of Tamil Nadu Undertaking). Electronic Manufacturing Companies with an export agenda may also apply.
Application should be accompanied by a statement in a prescribed format.
